Time Flies!

Hello Everyone!
Things have been wonderful around the Insall house! Kaden is finally potty trained, learning more colors, knows how to count to 10, and learning the letters of the alphabet. Our precious little baby boy isn't a baby anymore. He's not even considered a toddler, hes just a boy growing up before our eyes! Derek and I were talking last night about how Christmas is only 3 months away! How did that happen? Also only 2 more months until we take Kaden back to the cardiologist to find out if his aortic valve is leaking anymore or hopefully by the grace of God its stable. Time is just flying by and there is not a thing I can do about but sit down and buckle up for the ride. I never knew what my mom meant when we were younger by saying, 'Time is just flying by with you kids', I was still in school and just told her, 'mom, it isn't flying by', but now that I look back on it, it did fly by, and it's flying by faster with Kaden. I agree with a fellow heart mom, Rhonda, I wish we could just tape every single moment of life to just back and watch. We got videos of Kaden, a lot during his first year, we sit down from time to time to watch it. I'm glad we got them videos because now he doesn't even look the same as when he was a baby.
I took off this year from school to be with my 'growing boy' before we put him in preschool next year. School can wait, watching my little boy grow up and learning can't. I'm just thankful to have a WONDERFUL husband who is willing to work and support all of us just on his income. I know it can be hard but nothing is impossible with God! So while I'm off this year, I will be teaching Kaden the basics he will need to know before preschool as well as taking up every moment I have with him before he starts school. God is wonderful. He has, as our blog states, blessed us beyond measure. We have an amazing little boy, who came with a special heart, but hes not letting that get in his way. We have a wonderful family who is supportive even though they don't know what exactly we go through with having a child with a heart condition. We have a great church family who is always there to offer prayers not just for Kaden but for anything else we may need them for. I, for myself, is blessed to have my husband. A man who can go to work and do it for nothing but his family is no doubt amazing. I'm thankful he can go to work and not have to worry from day to day if he will have it tomorrow. I'm thankful that he loves me for me, cares for us, there for support when I need it most, and is a wonderful daddy to Kaden. He might have to play 'cars' from the time he walks in the door to when we put Kaden to bed, but hes there playing with love not acting like he has to do it! I can't wait until we have another little one. I don't know how Kaden will act though someone being around his daddy....yes, he's a daddy boy! lol. But only God will know when its time for us to have another one.
We are loving these times we call life. Yes, there are hard times. But its so wonderful at the end of the day all we have to do is hand it over to the Big Man up stairs, our heavenly Father. So we will keep taking this life, sometimes it can feel like a roller coaster but no doubt its life, day by day. Time goes by fast as it is, if you take life any longer than that there's no telling how fast it will go. God is GREAT! Thank you for taking time to read our official first post on our blog!....We are the Insall family and we are truly blessed beyond measure!...Take care and May God bless each and everyone of you!

With love from the ♥,
Kaci Insall
